The program is organized in annual cycles. New participants may apply from July to September. In October, a bilateral jury commission selects twelve new participants (six from each country).
The program year consists of three three-day workshop blocks that deal with specific topics related to the year’s theme. Workshops are held alternately in Germany and the Czech Republic. The workshops begin on Thursday evening and end on Sunday morning.
After completing the program year, the participants receive certificates and become part of the network as Alumni. All Alumni are invited once a year for a weekend meeting.
Timeline of the program year 2011/2012:
1. Opening and first unit: Prague (November 10 to 13, 2011)
2. Second unit: Frankfurt on the Main (January 19 to 22, 2012)
3. Third unit: Brno (March 29 to April 1, 2012)
4. Forth unit/Alumni meeting: Berlin (June 14 to 17, 2012)
